Died, July 26th, at 4 am, Alta, the 8-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stone. The child was sick with typho-malarial fever, which ensued as a result of something eaten or drank at the Boyd school picnic of several weeks ago, the immediate cause of death being hemorrhage of the stomach and bowels. It is understood that deceased had previously suffered, on Dec. 25th, 1901, with a severe attack of vomiting blood and again during last year, and recurring again in connection with the fever it was more that her constitution could withstand. The funeral took place at the M. E. church Wednesday, being largely attended. The sympathies of the community are with the bereaved family.
