Beulah Rose "Granny B" Chapmen, (MARION) passed away Thursday afternoon, September 3, 2009 at Heartland of Marion.

She was born September 27, 1921 to the late Benjamin A. and Syreva (Knight) Stief. She married Harry Leroy Chapman on August 9, 1941 in Napoleon, Ohio. Harry passed away in 1977.

Beulah belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 3313 in Marion. She enjoyed flower gardening, knitting and crocheting.

Beulah is survived by a daughter, Mary Stuckert of Bucyrus, Ohio; five grandchildren, R. Wesley (Lora) Stuckert, Marna (Mike) Foght, Chris (Joe) Osborn, Cari (Kent) Walters, and Beth Fetter-McKinnis; 16 great grandchilden, Adam and Mattie Stuckert, Tyson, Leah and Kendra Kocher, Mathias and Madison Foght, Casey, Cody and Cory Walters, Tristan, Amanda and Josh Osborn, and Russell, Reggan and Ryan Fetter; two great-great grandchildren, Leam Hensley and Allyson Osborn; three sisters, Audrey Douglas of Findlay, Ohio, Shirley (Charlie) Meck of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Janice Comstock of Hobe Sound, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Beulah was preceded in death by a daughter, Marty Rhoads; an infant brother and sister; and a sister Reva Jean Coleman.

Calling hours will be held Monday, September 7, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service led by Chaplain Jedidiah Brake at Frame Cemetery in Meeker on Tuesday, September 8, at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice program, Homecare Matters, P.O. Box 327, 1220 N. Market St. Galion, Ohio 44833 in care of Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
