Excerpt--the body of a woman found floating in the Monongahela River early yesterday morning was identified as that of Thelma Ayersman, a 59-year-old short-order cook at a local restaurant. Police said Mrs. Ayersman was reported missing from a relative's home early yesterday morning. She had been staying with the relative while recuperating from an illness. She had been released from university hospital Wednesday. There had been a report that she might have fallen into the river. Her body was found in the water under one of the floats behind the Old Joker Club. The coroner has listed her cause of death as suicide.

Excerpt--age 59, of Third St., died Thursday. She was born Oct. 2, 1912 in Fayette Co., Pa., the d/o the late Calvin C. and Anna M. Marshall Stewart. She was employed as a short order cook at Hav-A-Lunch. Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Ayersman; three sons, Charles E. Ayersman with the U.S. A.F. in Calf., Calvin E. Ayersman of Torrence, Calf., and Chester L. Ayersman of Morgantown; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle J. Graves, Mrs. Hazel Hillard and Mrs. Delores K. Dean, all of Morgantown; one brother Frank J. Stewart of Charleston; four sisters, Mrs. Cleonia Bise of Tampa, Mrs. Frances Hathway and Mrs. RoJene Phillips, both of Dillner, Pa., and Mrs. Virginia Grace Dunn of Windham, Oh. Interment was in the Beverly Hills Memorial Garden.
