Mrs. Mary Ann Goode, wife of Mr. W. H. Goode, of near Caledonia, died Sunday night of heart trouble. She was 72 years old and is survived by her husband and four children, three sons and one daughter. She had been a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church for many years.
Her funeral services were held yesterday afternoon and the interment tool place in the family burying ground.
