Services for Roy William "Steve" Stevenson, 60, Springfield, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Agnes Cathedral with the Rev. Tom Reidy officiating. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery under the direction of Klingner Mortuary.
Mr. Stevenson died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in his home after a long illness.
He was an insurance salesman for Associated Doctors Insurance Co.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; two daughters, Denise Stone, Kansas City, Kan., and Shelly Durkee, Yuma, Ariz.; a son, Michael, Westminster, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Karen Jo Kearby and Kimberly Ann Gray, both of Poplar Bluff, and Kelly Lynn Ellis, Springfield; a stepson, Bryant Shelton, Sterling, Va.; and nine grandchildren.
Rosary services will be at 7 p.m. today in the mortuary chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Missouri or the American Cancer Society. (Leader & Press, Thurs., Aug. 1, 1985, p. 2B, Col. 4).
