SPRINGFIELD — A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the Episcopal Church of St. John the Divine in Springfield for Margaret Leona Glidden of Springfield, who died Aug. 16 of age-related causes. She was 77.
She was born Sept. 25, 1933, in Battle Creek, Mich., to Bertran and Bernice Hollingsworth Stevens. She married Richard Glidden on April 18, 1954, in Klamath Falls.
She held an associate degree and worked as a medical technologist for many years.
Survivors include a son, Marc of Springfield; a daughter, Judith Glidden of Springfield; a brother, Mike Stevens of Tacoma; and three grandchildren.
Private inurnment will be in Cottage Grove. Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to a memorial fund at the Episcopal Church of St. John the Divine.
