MRS. WILLIAM BRODBECK

Mrs. Rosa Sterner Brodbeck, 76, widow of William Brodbeck, Seven Valleys RD 2, died at 2:18 a.m. today in the York Hospital, where she had been a patient for nine days. Mrs. Brodbeck had been ill for about two months.
She was a member of Zion (Shaffer's) Church, near Hanover Junction.
Surviving are six children, Mrs. Kenneth A. Heindel, Seven Valleys RD 2, with whom Mrs. Brodbeck made her home for the past 18 years; Mrs. Bernice Brodbeck, York; Miss Dora Gruver, York RD; Mrs. Romaine Bishop, Wellsville RD; Jay Brodbeck, York Haven, and Dean Brodbeck, Hanover; a step-daughter, Mrs. Charles Wintermeyer, Wellsville; 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Mrs. Fred Grothey, Glen Rock; Mrs. Katie McCleary, Glen Rock RD; Mrs. Gussie Pascoe, McSherrystown, and Mrs. Minnie Harbold, York RD 7.
The funeral will be held on Thursday with services at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. The Rev. Dr. Kenneth S. Ehrhart, pastor of the Jefferson Lutheran Charge, will officiate. Interment will be in Shaffer's Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow between 7 and 9 p.m.
