Deborah A. Nouzovsky, 62, of Minersville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening at home.
Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte Ann Venzlauskas.
A lifelong Minersville resident, she was a 1969 graduate of Minersville High School. A graduate of Empire Beauty School, she held a teacher's certificate in cosmetology.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Minersville. She was also a member of the Minersville Historical Society and Schuylkill County Historical Society.
Surviving are her husband, Steven, to whom she was married for 33 years; four children, David Venzlauskas and his wife, Stacey, Minersville, Jamie Nouzovsky, Chesapeake, Va., Nathaniel Nouzovsky and his companion, Krystle Jacobs, Minersville, and Stephanie Nouzovsky, Minersville; six grandchildren, Michael Venzlauskas, Jared and Sharlette Nouzovsky, Kamryn Karrer and Gavin and Aiden Nouzovsky; a paternal aunt, Marion Boyle, Portland, Ore.; and her close relative and neighbor, Joan Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Zion Lutheran Church, Fourth and Lewis streets, Minersville, with S. Regnal Leibensperger, SALM, officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 6 p.m. Tuesday at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury St., Minersville, and from 9 a.m. to the time of service Wednesday at the church. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Branch Township. The family prefers remembrances to either the Minersville Historical Society (www.minersville.net) or Ronald McDonald House (www.rmhc.org). Donations will also be accepted by the funeral home.
