Mrs. Virginia Marie Arthur, 60, Mobile Home Villa, died at
a.m. today at W.S. Major Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks.
She had been in poor health several years.
Mrs. Arthur who lived in Shelby County most of her life, belonged to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Born Jan. 1,1921 in Shelbyville, a daughter of Elmer and Pearl Stephens, she was married July 30, 1948 in Indianapolis to Virgil F Arthur, who died Jan. 30, 1979.
Surviving are a daughter,Mrs. Verley(Shirley)Plymate, Fairland, and several grandchiden.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Murphy Mortuary with the Rev. William Ernst officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Thursday.
