Born Jan. 1,1921 in Shelbyville, a daughter of Elmer and Pearl Stephens, she was married July 30, 1948 in Indianapolis to Virgil F Arthur, who died Jan. 30, 1979.
Surviving are a daughter,Mrs. Verley(Shirley)Plymate, Fairland, and several grandchiden.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Murphy Mortuary with the Rev. William Ernst officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Thursday.
