She was born Feb. 25, 1940 in Fountaindale, Adams County, and was the daughter of the late John D. and Alice M. (Warren) Stem.
Nunny worked at the former Green Acres Nursing Home in Gettysburg for many years as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed baking and cooking and had a green thumb when it came to gardening.
Nunny is survived by two sisters, Annie E. McClain of Carroll Valley and Janet L. "Jenny" Moore of Blue Ridge Summit; two brothers, William D. Stem of Carroll Valley and Fred A. Stem of North Carolina and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Natalie Dawn Bender; a sister, Mary Jane Weikert; and two brothers; Glenn H. Stem and John D. Stem, Jr.
Following Funeral Services at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Fountaindale with Pastor Terry Hoke officiating, burial will be in the Fountaindale Union Cemetery, Fairfield.
