Tamara "Tammy" Lee Stellman Adams, 25, of Cortland formerly of Hampshire passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008 in her home. She was born July 21, 1982 in Winfield the daughter of Tom and Cathy Duncan Stellman. She was a graduate of Westminster High School, Elgin and Hawaii Pacific University with Honors.
Surviving are her husband, Timothy R. Adams whom she married on March 21, 2005; her son, Timothy Lee Adams; her parents, Tom and Cathy Stellman of Elgin; her sister, Tina (Pete) Jensen of Cortland; her maternal grandparents, Jeanne M. and Sydney A. Duncan; her paternal grandmother, Vivian M. Stellman.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Fremont G. Stellman.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 25 at Grace Evangelical Church, 1800 Bowes Rd., Elgin. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Laird Funeral Home, Elgin and Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services in the church. Burial will be in Plato Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Timothy Lee Adams Education Fund C/O of Chase Bank, 500 Shady Oaks Dr., Elgin 60120.
