Mrs. Fay L. Ambler
Mabel Fern Ambler was born in Emerson, Iowa Aug. 29. 1891 and passed away at her home In South Bend, Indiana May 18, 1929 at the age of thirty-seven years, six months, and nineteen days.
Her father died In her early childhood and she and her mother resided In Red Oak until her marriage to Fay L. Ambler Feb. 8, 1919. Since her marriage she has lived In Omaha, Mollne, Illinois, Chicago, and South Bend, Indiana. In her girlhood she united with the Methodist church and died in its faith and practices. Those left to mourn her passing in death are her husband, mother, a brother, Roy Steen. of Lanesboro, Iowa, and a sister, Mrs. Edna Hagood, of Aurora, Illinois.
The funersl service was held from the Methodist Church in Emerson, Tuesday afternoon, May 21st, conducted by Rev Lucius J. Smith and assisted by Rev. Paul K. Holland. The church quartet, Dr. E. L. Johnson, Mrs. Clara Thorson, Mrs. Carrie Holmes, and Ray Fields sand. Mrs. Louise Whisler was accompanist.
Interment was made in the Emerson Cemetery.
