A native of Itawamba County, Mississippi, she had resided in Fulton a number of years before moving to St. Louis.
She leaves three daughters: Mrs. Edna Comstock & Mrs. Lola Weeks of Marked Tree, and Mrs. Mamie Pace of North Little Rock. Four sons: Ralph Baser of Lansing, Michigan; Milton Baser of West Memphis, Hubert and Rubel Baser of St. Louis. Also 26 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 24 great great grandchildren. Two sisters: Mrs. Reatha Price of Tyronza, Ark.; and Mrs. Dixon Gilchrist of Memphis, Tennessee.
She was a member of the Church of God. Funeral services were held July 3rd at Marked Tree Church of God with Murphy Funeral Home in charge.
Interment was in Marked Tree Cemetery. She was 81 years of age.
