She was born January 29, 1899 in Farmington, Utah, a daughter of Walter William and Julia Maria Wilcox Steed. She married James Ricks Smith January 21, 1921 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he passed away October 12, 1973. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survived by one daughter, Julia S. Campbell, Salt Lake City; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth (Mrs. Warren E.) Hansen, East Garland.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, August 24, 1992, at the Mountain View 3rd Ward, 1889 South 1700 East. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary.
