Angela was a 1945 graduate of Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown and retired from Hanover House Industries. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown, National Council of Catholic Women, a sponsor for the RCIA candidates and enjoyed her time volunteering at Meals on Wheels. She was a loving caring person, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother; she had a beautiful smile that was contagious and continued to keep her witty sense of humor. She will always be remembered as one of those Staub sisters taking their morning walks around McSherrystown and meeting at Hardee’s for breakfast.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her four children; Connie Conrad and her husband Bob of Spring Grove, Barbara Wrappe and husband Dan of Winston-Salem, NC, Elaine McCleaf of Pacific Grove, CA and Philip McCleaf and his wife Anna Lindstrom of Uppsala, Sweden; five grandchildren; Megan Wrappe, Emma Juarez, Katarina, Joseph and Laura McCleaf, two siblings; Jane Noel of Hanover and Sr. Vincent Mary Staub SSJ of Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by nine siblings; Stephen, Vincent, Robert and William Staub, Anna Noel, Jeune Weller, Charlotte Shetter, Mary Louise Redding and Loretta C. Folmer.
Following a Mass of Christian Burial at Annunciation B.V.M Catholic Church at 10am on Saturday, May 23 2015 with Rev. Lawrence W. Sherdel as celebrant, burial will follow in the Annunciation Cemetery.
