Ragine (Starrett) Moore was born November 22, 1919 and went to be with her Savior November 6, 2012, just short of her 93rd birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Sally Nugent (Neugie) Starrett; her siblings Eleanor Ruth (Robbie) Attlesey McKenzie, James Starrett, and Howard Starrett; her first husband, Don Dempsey, and her second husband, Marion Eugene Moore. She is survived by her two daughters Marian Faucett and husband, Jim; Donna Golemi, and husband, Frank; grandchildren Rob Faucett, Elizabeth Hancock and husband, Shea, Lisa Every and husband, Nathan; great-grandchildren Emma Every, Oliver Every, and Brooks Hancock; nieces Elizabeth (Attlesey) Williams and husband, David; Peggy Wright and husband, James, and Laura Bogard; and sister-in-law Ada Starrett. Ragine grew up in Reilly Springs, Texas. She was graduated from East Texas State College. She taught school in Greenpond, Sulphur Springs, and retired from teaching at Houston Independent School District She was a member of Tallowood Baptist Church, Houston, Texas where she served in the prayer ministry as well as the international ministry. She has been a faithful contributor to Children International, sponsoring numerous children around the world for more than 25 years. Arrangements are by Tapp Funeral Home with viewing Friday, November 9, at 10am and services at 11am. The family request in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children International, P. O. Box 219055 Kansas City, MO 64121.
