A true angel of God, Annie Mary Stapleton departed this life on Monday, April 14, 2008 at the age of 69 years.

Annie was born November 11, 1938 in Laredo, Mexico to Guadalupe and Louisa Padilla. She married Herbert Stapleton in Rossford, GA on March 20, 1961. She loved cooking, fishing, and gardening.

Her memory will be cherished by husband, Herbert; four sons, Robert, Ron (Niecy), Roland (Cheryl) and Randy (Shirlon); seven grandchildren, Antonio, Tavon, LaToya, Rosialinda, Randy Jr., Marcus and Cedric; one great-grandchild, Jerome; two sisters, Ramona (Harold) Furlo and Alice Padilla; three brothers, Inez (Maria Elena) Padilla, Tom and Joe (Noemi) Padilla; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends including special friends, Chuck Galser and Dave Van Ochten.

Mrs. Stapleton was preceded in death by a son, Roger Stapleton; two brothers, Gilbert and John Padilla and one sister, MaryLou Allen.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Browne's Mortuary, 441 N. Jefferson Ave. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
