GARMAN - Gloria J., 61, of Bon Air, passed away on May 24, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center, Main Campus. She was born May 25, 1944, in Johnstown, daughter of James E. and Bertha A. (Meinholtz) Stanton. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marie Carsella; and a brother, Richard. Survived by husband of 45 years, Ronald L. Sr.; children, Ronald L. Jr., married to the former Karen Markiewicz, Bon Air; Richard H., married to the former Melissa Buck, Ferndale; Brian J., married to the former Connie Kostyk, Sidman; Lisa R., wife of David Kamlar, Moxham; and Karen J., Bon Air; grandchildren, Karla, Ronnie III, Kara, Kayla, Brian Jr., Craig and Christopher; brother, James, Johnstown; sisters, Kathy, wife of James Shores, New Jersey, and Patricia Blough; and several nieces and nephews. Gloria was a member of the Conemaugh Church of the Brethren. She will be sadly missed and remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, and from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Friday at the Conemaugh Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Guy Myers officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
