She was born May 1, 1914, in Clovis, to Richard Penn and Fannie Lenora Willingham Stanford.
Mrs. Conner was a youngest child whose mother died a week after her birth. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Ella (Dot) and R. W. (Shorty) Wilde. She married John R. Lewis on September 18, 1932, in Oklahoma, and John W. Conner on February 14, 1952, in Clovis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Conner; five brothers, Earnest Stanford, Isaac (Ike) Stanford, Oscar Stanford, Truman Stanford, and Lawrence Stanford.
Mrs. Conner is survived by one daughter, Lillian Robinson; one son, Don Lewis; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at Steed-Todd Chapel in Clovis.
The Rev. Dick Ross will officiate.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
