Age 86, of Medway, passed away Thursday August 14, 2014. She was born June 30, 1928 in Sassafras Kentucky, the daughter of the late Hiram and Verta (Smith)Stamper. Nancy was employed as a teacher, retiring from Medway Elementary School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis in June of 2012; and a sister, Jewel Combs. She is survived by a sister, Jeanette Stamper of Medway; two daughters, Kathy (Dr. Charles) Wheeler of Florida, Lisa (Gary) Butterfield of Dayton; Three grandchildren, Charles F. Wheeler, III, Dr. Lindsey (Todd)Wheeler-Bruce, Brittany Hunter; and a niece, Judy Foley of Florida. The family will receive friends on Monday August 18, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, Where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at 10:30 AM Elder Foster Akers officiating. Burial will follow in the Byron Cemetery.
