Mary Ethel Liosi Stahl, 76, of Beech Grove, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016. She was born on November 25, 1940 to the late Samuel and Mary Ethel Talboo Liosi in Cleveland, Ohio. Mary was a long-time volunteer at the St. Paul Hermitage and a member of the Ave Maria Guild. Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, James M. Stahl, Jr.; children, Suzanne Hunter (Mark), James M. Stahl, III, Anthony L. Stahl (Doanie) and Samuel J. Stahl (Nina Claborn); sisters, Bonnie Stevens (Mike) and Patsy Lee; grandchildren, Nicholas Carroll (Sarah Clayton), James Carroll (Venecia), Angela Wade (Dave), Miranda Vaughn, Lacey Stahl (Kyle Biggerstaff) and Candace Stahl; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Daniel Liosi and Sharon Liosi Page. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 22 at 10 a.m. in Holy Name Catholic Church with prayers being said prior to Mass in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
