Willie Nell was my aunt by marriage but I never thought about that growing up. She was just like a blood relative to me. We grew up around them in Oklahoma until my family moved to Texas in 1958. Uncle Doyle died in 1998. My sisters and I kept in contact with them over the years. We all loved Doyle and Willie Nell very much and enjoyed our visits with them when we made our trips back to Oklahoma.
