Al Staab, 68, 2303 Timber Drive, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Staab graduated from St. Joseph College in 1924. He worked at O'Loughlin Motor Co., Hays, for several years before moving to Ellis to serve as manager of the O'Loughlin firm there. In 1955 he helped start Staab-Bunker Mortor Co. in La Crosse. After retiring in 1968 he moved back to Hays. He was a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus member.

Survivors include his wife, Olive, of the home; a son, Don C., Victoria; two grandchildren; 10 sisters, Sister Paulita, Fort Wayne, Ind., Sister Carlita, Decatur, Ind., Mrs. Lydia Brungardt, Victoria, Mrs. Bertha Mader, Albuquerque, N.M., Mrs. Alexia Keberlein, Littleton, Colo., Irene, Denver, Mrs. Edna McColl, Nutley, N.J., Mrs. Viola Emery, Denver, Mrs. Pauline Ehler, Denver, and Mrs. Kathryn Huffman, Hays; and a brother, A. J., Topeka.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Hays. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brock's North Hill Chapel here. Friends may call from 7:30 p.m. Monday until service time.
