Enoch Spruance, son of James W. Spruance, who went to Texas 12 years ago, settling near the centre of the State, returned home last week. He had grown out of his father's recognition, and had to make himself known on entering the house. He will not return to Texas, but will take charge of his father's farm in Thoroughfare Neck, below Walker's school house.
