Obituary: Charlotte Sprague was born in Steuben County, New York, August 18, 1826, and departed this life February 11, 1912, at the home of her son Herman Sparks at Matherton, Michigan age 85 years, 5 months and 24 days. She was united in marriage to John Sparks January 5, 1850. To this union were born eleven children seven of whom are still living, four sons and three daughters. She was a member of the United Brethren church, Mt. Hope class, Middleton circuit. She died trusting in the Lord. The funeral was held at Mt. Hope church February 13, 1912.
