She was the daughter of George Lovette and the widow of Marvin Sports. She was a certified dietician with Marlboro General and Marlboro Park Hospitals. She was also a member of Bristow Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by four children, her mother, two sisters, two brothers, eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne Hood Sports.
