The funeral service of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Spencer Bryant was held at the family home, Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock Rev. Frank L. Garfield pastor of the Federated church conducted the religious service and the following were the bearers: Frank J. Williams, Levi D. Spencer, George Spencer, Bernal Kinney, Frank Brown and A. V. Ransom. The burial was in the family to in Castleton cemetery.
The deceased lady was born in that portion of Castleton known as Belgo, 67 years ago, and all the years of her quiet and useful life were passed in this town. She had been since early life, a member of the Congregational church, and was a woman always respected by those who knew her, and greatly loved in her own household. She is survived by her husband, Harland Bryant and two daughters, Mrs. Frank Brown and Mrs. Bernal Kinney and one Son, Herbert Bryant.
