Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Speaker, 72, of 1102 53rd St., will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, the Rev. M. C. Battle officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery under direction of Fields Funeral Home.
Mrs. Speaker died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at her residence after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Grimes County, Texas, and was a retired teacher.
She was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, the Heroines of Jericho Court no. 282 and Court of Gatauther no. 82.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ruby N. Bryant and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be deacons and trustees of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
