A telegram announcing the death of Mrs. L.L. Singleton of this city was received yesterday. The family were on a Christmas visit at Vernon, Texas, when the sad occurrence happened.
Mr. Singleton is a well known carpenter here and lives on Bailey avenue.
We extend our sympathy to Mr. Singleton and his little children, in their sad loss. Mrs. Singleton was a devoted member of the Lilly Grove Baptist church.
She will be buried at Rocky Springs this afternoon.
