He was a resident of Norton for 30 years, and re tired from PPG Indus tries. Garnie was a mem ber of Community Church of Portage Lakes, Johnson Journeyers Camping Club, PPG 20-Year Club, Columbia Retiree Club and AARP.
Preceded in death by his wives, Frances Snyder and Ethel Beidle Snyder; stepson, Raymond Beidle; surviving are daughters, Kay Frances Jeffers of Texas, Garnett Jean Snyder of Akron; son, Kelvin (Theresa) Snyder of Akron; stepson, Den nis (Deborah) Beidle of Doylestown; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; sister, Elsie Hudacko and numerous nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday 2 p.m. at the Camp field-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, with Dr. John Thielen haus officiating. Burial Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation Sun day 4 to 7 p.m. (Campfield- Hickman-Collier, 330-745- 3161.)
