Mrs. Barksdale died on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at her home. She was born September 11, 1947, in Long Beach, California, to Arvel Lee and Martha Mae Davis Snow. She was a homemaker, a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Kimberley Shed and husband Jessie, Brady, Texas; Tonya Shed and husband Billy, Allen; and Ginger Stephens, Allen; five grandchildren, Hayden Maynard, Kalee Pangle, Jessica Shed, Taylor Stephens and Tanner Sims; great grandson, Anson Shed; and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Bearers are Hayden Maynard, Billy Shed, Jessie Shed, Hunter Sims, Roger Pickett and Ryan Rose. Honorary bearers are Leonard Iker and Elmo Cross.
