Peggy Ann Snow Firth died September 21st, 2000, at the St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, of natural causes.

Peggy was born in Salt Lake City, UT Oct 19th, 1922, to Erastus Pymm Snow and Ruth Davis Snow. After graduating from East High School, she at-tended Fairmont Col-lege in Washington D.C. and the Uni-versity of Utah where she met and married Rex Lane Firth of Ogden, UT, Oct 28th, 1942, marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, May 24th 1949.

She was active in the Pi Phi Sorority, and served in the Junior League of Salt Lake, American Heart Fund and on the Primary Children's Hospital volunteer staff. After being stationed at various Marine Corps bases during World War II, they resided in Salt Lake City and Park City during which time, they raised six children. Upon retirement in 1987, they served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Laie, HI. When her husband passed away Dec 6th, 1987, she returned to Salt Lake to be with her family. She felt her greatest achievement was her family, and the source of her strength was her religious pioneer heritage.

Preceded in death by her parents, Erastus and Ruth D. Snow; brother, Ashby Snow; and infant daughter, Randy Snow. Survived by six children and spouses: Tanya (Bruce) Zenger, Terry (Bruce) Wallin, Holly (Rob) Elliott, Tim (Kathy) Firth, Cort (Lisa) Firth, Caprice (Mike) Poyner; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grand-children; a sister, Ruth Jean (Jim) Stevens; a brother, William D. (Louise) Snow; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12 noon Tuesday Sept 26, 2000 at the Millcreek LDS Stake Center, 420 E. 4220 S, Salt Lake City. There will be a closed casket viewing 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
