Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Hurt of Kansas Cty were held yesterday morning in Kansas City and yesterday at the United Methodist Churc in Clifton Hill. Burial was in the Clifton Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hurt, 92, a native of Armstrong died Saturday, October 31, 1981 at her home in Kansas City. She was born in Armstrong , a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Snoddy, and had made her home in Kansas City with her daughter, Oleva C. Rucker, since 1956. The widow of Everett Hurt, Clifton Hill banker, she was a member of the Clifton Hill Methodist Church where she served as pianist for 36 years. She served for several years as Democratic committee woman of the Clifton Hill township. In addition to her daughter, survivors include one brother, Sam R. Snoddy of Fayette, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. The family suggests contributions to the Cancer Society or the church of your choice.
