Funeral services for Mrs. Sena L. Myers, 70, widow of Dr. Irving A. Myers who died Wednesday at her home at 411 Wisconsin ave after a long illness, will be at 2 p m. Friday in Bethel Lutheran church.
The Rev. Leonard A. Benson will officiate. Burial will be in the Cottage Grove cemetery.
Friends may call at the Schroeder funeral home after noon today.
Services wul also be conducted by the Order of Eastern Star at 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Myers was the daughter of Tore and Martha Smithback, pioneer Dane county residents.
She was bom in the town of Christiana in a farm home that has been in the Smithback family for more than a century.
After attending S t o u g h t o n academy, Albion academy, and Dixon college, she was married to Dr. Myers and the couple went to live in Cottage Grove. After his death in 1928, Mrs. Myers moved to Madison.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and its drill team, the Zor auxiliary, the White Shrine, and Bethel church.
Mrs. Myers is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Richard J. Edwards and Mrs. John C. Taggett. Madison; three brothers, Oscar, Madison; , Thorvald, Deerfield; and Neal Smithback, Milwaukee; and five grandchildren
