Mrs. Pittman was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg, PA and a charter member of the Gettysburg Women of the Moose. She and her late husband owned and operated the Highway Truck Stop in McKnightstown, PA
for many years and later had been employed by the former Prosperity Dry Cleaners in Gettysburg until her retirement.
Mrs. Pittman is survived by her son, C. Ronald Pittman of Gettysburg, three grandchildren and
six great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Robert Smith Pittman who died in 1998.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at St.
Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 45 W. High St. Gettysburg with Fr. John Bateman, Celebrant. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
