MOCKSVILLE – Ms. Dorothy Aileen Smith, 98, died Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born February 26, 1921, in Davie County, to Bragg Anderson and Ollie Theodosia Foster Smith.

She graduated from High School in 1939. She was a homemaker and a member of North Main Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include nieces; Joan Wyatt of Mocksville, Sandra Taylor of San Tan Valley, Arizona, Wanda McCullar of Mesa, Arizona, Teresa Booth of San Tan Valley, Arizona and Faith Muir of Scottsdale, Arizona, nephews; George Grafe of Cottonwood, Arizona, Kenneth Grafe of San Tan Valley, Arizona, Kyle Grafe and Dennis Grafe of Mocksville, Ricky Grafe of Mesa, Arizona and cousin, Sue Eudy Smith of Cooleemee.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, at Jericho Church of Christ Cemetery with the Dr. Tom Torpy officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Memorials may be considered for Carolina Bible Camp and Retreat, 1988 Jericho Church Road, Mocksville, NC 27028.
