Ben played the guitar, wrote poetry and loved people. He was a very talented musician and writer. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He will be missed by family and friends who loved him.

He is survived by his parents; paternal grandmother, Norma M. Smith, Lehi; brothers and sisters, Laurel Moyer (Walt), Farmington; Annette Madruga (Ronnie), Clearfield; Kendell (Debbie), Morgan; Melanie Richardson (Dave), Abilene, Texas; Michael (Janette), Clinton; Angela Wilkinson (David) , Ogden; Melinda Smith (Eric), Kaysville; four nephews and four nieces; dear friend, Rachael.

Friends may call Monday, May 2, from 7 - 9 p.m. Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 3, 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 13th Ward Chapel, 875 East 200 North, where friends may call from 10-10:45 a.m.
