BUFFALO Gladys Smith Liner, 82, of 216 South St., Buffalo, widow of Ray K. Liner, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Wallace Thomson Hospital.
Mrs. Liner was born in Union, July 17, 1924, a daughter of the late Ike Smith and Dolly Lawson Smith. She retired from United Merchants - Buffalo Mill, after 45 years of service and was a member of West Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors are: a son, Randall Liner and wife Sonya; and a grandson, Bill Liner, all of Buffalo.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2007 at West Springs Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Ray Harold Belue, the Rev. Johnny Burgess and the Rev. Kevin Dalton. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers are Jackie Earls, Leonard Taylor, Jimmy Burton, Donnie Sanders, Orson Griggs and Joe Plemmons. The following are asked to assemble at the church at 2:45 p.m. to form the honorary escort: Mark Woodward, Ronnie Turner, Everette Smith, Franklin Cathcart, Ricky Baldwin, Don Moore and members of the Meals on Wheels.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 Thursday night at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the West Springs Baptist Church, 4811 Buffalo West Springs Highway, Pauline, S.C. 29374.
