Ellen, wife of L. D. Smith of this place, died at the county home Friday, January 6, of grip, aged 74 years. The deceased was a sister of the late Robert Lutton of North Strabane. Mrs. Smith's mind became affected many years ago as a result of illness, and for 20 years she had been at the home. The funeral services were held at the Hill church Sunday at 1 o'clock; interment in the church cemetery.
