Mrs. Bertha Smith Brady, wife of Roy, died in Cornelius July 30, 1921. Born in DeGraff, O, April 9, 1884 at the age of nine, she and her brother (her mother having died) came West with her aunt, the late Mrs. R. W. McNutt. She returned to Kansas until she married Mr. Clarence L. Brady in 1909 and has resided in Cornelius since the marriage.
She is survived by her husband, two children: Erma, aged 9 and a baby girl a few weeks old; her brother E.W. Smith in Kansas. Interment at Forest Grove cemetery.
