She was the wife of Lawrence M. Conrad, to whom she was married 46 years this past October 7th. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Caroline Fulmer Smith of Willow Street and the late Walter Smith Sr.
Carol had been a computerboard assembler at Sechan Electronics, Inc. of Lititz for 12 years.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles and crafts and enjoyed amusement parks especially Knobels Grove.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her son Lawrence "Mike" Jr., husband of Angie Conrad of Lancaster; her brother Charles Smith of Willow Street and her sisters: Lynn Jordan of Wisconsin, Shirley Booth of PA, and Donna Frick and Cheryl Smith both of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Smith Jr.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 1:30-2:30PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA, with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:30PM.
