JUNE MARGUERITE DYKSTRA Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her home on February 23, 2008 at the age of 86. She was born to Robert and Jenny Smith on October 21, 1921 in Boyden, Iowa. She was married to Arnold Dykstra for 55 years, until his death in May 1997. June leaves a brother Arthur Smith, her three children: Harry Dykstra of Vacaville, California, Donald Dykstra and his wife Liz of Costa Mesa, California and Debra Minich and her husband Mark of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Jennifer Burton, Arend Dykstra, Matthew Minich and Kaitlyn Minich as well as four great grandchildren. Before moving to Hemet, June worked for Dolly Madison Bakery for 25 years. In 1990 she moved to Highland Palms where she was an avid bridge player and golfer with five holes in one to her credit. She loved to needlepoint and knit and her home is filled with her beautiful creations. She deeply loved her family and many friends and will be truly missed. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2008 from 10:30-12:30 at Miller-Jones Mortuary Hemet.
