Charlene "Gram" graduated salutatorian from Foxcroft Acadamy and taught private piano lessons. She was a member and former organist at the United Baptist Church of Dover-Foxcroft. In her earlier years, she played piano for the silent movies in Dover. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting and was a life member of Miriam Chapter #40, OES in Dover. She loved baking for her family, especially her famous doughnuts, biscuits and cookies. She spent many, many years at her camp on Sebec Lake in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.
