widow of Marshall H. Lambert, died
Thursday, November 14, 1946, at her
home in New Windsor. She was born
in Carroll county, a daughter of the
late Samuel A. and Abbie Haifley
Smith and was 81 years of age. She
is survived by the following children: Mrs.
Grover C. Arnold and M. Smith Lambert,
Baltimore; J. Ralph Lambert,
Thurmont, Harry S. and Miss L.
Margaret Lambert, at home; also
seven grandchildren, three great-
grandchildren, and three sisters:
Mrs. Clara Gehr, Harrisburg; Miss
Cora M. Smith and Mrs. Effie Welker,
New York City. Mrs. Lambert
was a lifelong member of the Methodist
church.
Funeral rites will be conducted
Sunday at 2 P. M. at the late residence.
The Rev. F. C. Soper will officiate.
Burial will take place in the
Westminster Cemetery. D. D. Hartz-
ler & Sons, funeral directors.
