Norma Imogene "Jean" Smith Anderson, 88, died Dec. 17, 2011 in Apple Valley, MN.
She was born May 4, 1923 in Clay County, the daughter of Clyde and Margaret Beard Smith. She lived in Clay County until she married in 1941 to Charles R. Anderson.
Survivors include two children, Dr. Carles Ronald Anderson and Linda Jean Stephenson; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two sisters, Melba Smith and Betty Smith Mulvaney; and one great-grandson, Matthew Anderson.
In accordance wit her wishes her remains were cremated and will be interred at Oddfellows Cemetery in Xenia.
