Mrs. McKinney attended Crabtree Free Will Baptist Church. She was a former cook at Cloudland Elementary School, Roan Mountain, for the Carter County School System.
Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at Tetrick Funeral Home, Rhododendron Chapel.
Graveside services and interment weree held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2003 at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
