Essie E. Johnson, 82, of 5720 Frostwood Parkway, formerly of 1100 First St., died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1994, at her home.
Born March 3, 1911, in Quitman County, Miss., to Clarence and Willie Lee Collins Smith, she married Woodrow Johnson on Feb. 8, 1939, in Coahoma County, Miss. He died Sept. 26, 1990, in Peoria. Three brothers also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Rosie Kimbrough of Peoria.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
