DOROTHY J. LAMBERT
ROME - Mrs. Dorothy J. Lambert, 45, wife of Ivan E. Lambert, 403 Ann St., a native of Pulaski, and former resident of Watertown, died Wednesday at Faxton Hospital. Death was attributed to natural causes.
The funeral was today at 1 p.m. at the Nunn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rathbunville Cemetery.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Miss Linda S. Lambert; four sons, Ronald F., Wendell G., Timothy A., and Daniel W., all at home; a sister, Mrs. Harold C. (Elsie) Granger, North Bay; two brothers, Howard A. Sloper, Waterloo, (second son not listed) three half sisters, Mrs. Clifford H. (Ora) Clark, Kirkland; Mrs. Louis (Lorena) Buttack, Rochester, Mrs. Walter (Doris) Stone, Scotia, and a foster sister, Mrs. Stanley (Ethel) Scales, Clayton.
Born in Pulaski, a daughter of Roy M. and Leva Adams Sloper, she attended Pulaski and Watertown schools and was married to Ivan E. Lambert, then stationed at Pine Camp in September, 1949.
Mrs. Lambert was employed for a time at the St. Regis Paper Co., Deferiet, as an inspector. The couple came to Rome 18 years ago where Mr. Lambert was employed by Griffiss Air Force Base until a year ago when he became disabled.
