Karl Justin Skidmore passed away on August 26, 2009.


He was born October 15, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John and Edith Skidmore.


He married Christina Arroyo in the Los Angeles Temple on February 5, 1960.


He was an active member of the LDS Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Karl's passion in life was to be of service to others.


He is survived by his wife Christina, children: Cindy (Evan) Gillman, Loretta (Tony) Wittig, Kathy Licitra (fiance Brendan Walsh), Mike (Barb) Skidmore, and Tim (Samantha) Skidmore, 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren with three on the way, sister Shirley (Reid) Jeffrey, and brother John W. (Iva) Skidmore.


Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Herriman Hills Ward Chapel, 5246 West Gossamer Way (13700 South), where friends may call an hour prior.
Interment in the Utah Veteran's Memorial Park to be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m.
