Frances Sinatra DeGilormo, 88, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in New York, NY, she came to Syracuse in 1944. A former employee of the Civil Service Department in New York City, Frances also volunteered at Ida Benderson for 15 years. She was a member of AARP Senior Center and a member of McChesney Park. Frances was a loving, kind and wonderful mother and grandmother who was loved and appreciated by all who knew her. Predeceased by her husband, Vito, in 1966. Surviving are her daughter, MaryAnn (James) Sayre; sons, Salvatore (Patty) DeGilormo of Las Vegas and Michael DeGilormo; sisters, Rose Hills and Anna Nizzari; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
